RID Trouble

Has anyone got any test data for the RID display on a 1100GS? Mine flickered and stopped working last week.

Since then I've checked the fuse and the two connectors between it and the fuel level sender for earth and +12v which are both OK yet it still isn't working. I'd like to check resistance across the other 8 pin connector before I get another.

Is it just the Gear Indicator or the whole RID?
The Gear indicator plays up if the plug at the back of the endine gets wet. Either drop the cat/y-piece and clean or (like me) wait for it to dry out.
