Ride out Sunday 9 May 2010

Thanks it was a great run out Kev. Really enjoyed it, as for the weather at least we weren't covered in insects at the end of the day.

Thanks for putting in all the time and effort doing dummy runs to make sure we all have a good time and it all runs smooth.

Can't wait for the next one. I might have a catheter fitted for that.

Nice One Woodsie

Thanks For That.

Even though I'd seen some of that with you before it became a challenge with the change in climactic conditions: Michelin Anakee's did not work on the muddy stuff and I have to admit to a pounding chest on at least four occasions with both legs flapping around.

Looking forward to next time and I hope to see you, and many others, in Eynsford to discuss this trip more.

Oh, yer! Toliet breaks please. My morning coffee habit nearly caught me out.

Let's hit the coast next time and stop for Fish and Chips, if that sounds good to anyone else.

Keep up the good work and let me know when you need a reccy doing.

Spookily enough I've got a route for that very thing ready to test run:thumb

Ill be in touch

I thought that........

and I have to admit on ...... at least four occasions ........ with both legs flapping around.

....was your usual riding style:D:D

It does make things quiver :augie:augie when you slide about a bit.

Really pleased we had a safe one

I'm even up for the test run, Sunday was great fun.

Amen to that...need to do as much riding as possible, so let me know too, happy to play:clap

As for the leg flapping:blast, had a few of those myself, bloody great fun!!:D

Agree the more riding the better. Always up for a ride or two.

Has anyone been on, or want to go on the BMW off road course in Wales?

I did go on the off road course in 2007. A terrific weekend - great instructors & I did learn loads about the delights of off roading, and how to cope in certain situations, which was a great confidence booster. It was my first time on a GS, so I jumped in with both feet & did the weekend on a 1200:clap

I stayed in the Abercrave Inn (the place that features on LWR & LWD), and it's a cracking pub, with good food, friendly staff & nice digs.:thumb2 It was also a blisteringly hot weekend, which made it all the better:)

Would love to do the level 2 course, just not sure when.

Get yourself on level 1 - you will enjoy yourself & come away a better rider:D

Keith,

A couple of us meet up every Sunday at my house and then go onto the Oakdean cafe for a bite to eat, then we go for a ride over the same sort of roads that we did last Sunday.

Pls feel free to join us or anyone else who just wants a ride out.

But can't do this weekend as will be at Nomad's camp.

Didn't do the BMW one, seemed a tad expensive. I did the Yamaha off road in Lllandidnoes instead.
1 day job. Great instructors (some ex champs or something) and very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended
