To all and sundry.
09.00 - Starting from junction 5 on the M20 - at the top of the slip road on the North side (slip road from West - London Direction).
Tour through Kent in an anti-clockwise direction through mainly country lanes.
There are some bits of road where you can open up and have a blast but it's mainly minor roads & lanes.
If you have been on my routes before there will be the usual lanes with grass growing down the centre and under low hanging branches, tight corners with adverse cambers and tight up and down hill bends. The winter has left a good few potholes and other bits of road surface missing and lots of gravel and detritus along the centre of the road in lots of places. The ride is OK for bikes with road tyres - no off road at all.
Lunch break to be sorted - last year we stopped for lunch and people went their own way from there - I'll link in to a suitable hostelry and advise on the day
I'm running the route again before the 9th and will get a better idea of times.
The route ends back at juntion 5 on the M20 for those that stay the course.
The route runs well, there are a couple of sets of road works but the GPS routes around them so we'll deal with that on the day.
Attached map of start and finish point.
Please post if you're intereseted
