Everyone has there own opinion and at this stage I don't think anyone is going to change there's so I think it might be as well to close This tread I am finished posting on it anyway

I'm not expressing an opinion on what has gone before the post I referred to.

I’m at a loss as to why I’m the villain of the piece here.
You’ve read Mide’s story.
She felt badly treated by a member.
Is that my business…yes it is. It’s everybody’s business.
To discourage such behaviour, I posted the scenario without names.
It was about the principle, not the people.
Would I do it again….absolutely!
If Frank felt it was probably him and felt misunderstood, he should have contacted Mide off line, not the other way round, in order to allay the misunderstanding.
Members would have posted opinions, nobody’s transactions or reputation would be in question, just a way of dealing among members discussed.
It only became nasty when members names arose. I did not do that! Repeat…I did not do that!
Should I have expected it? I think not but maybe I was naïve.
And, as most contributors know, I’ll drink pints with anyone who’ll drink with me.

Mightn't have been too happy if it was me but why not, seller was happy with the price first day otherwise wouldn't have sold, buyer took a risk and possibly made a good few bob when he sold it on
i will say one thing, what bike goes up for and is sold at are usually different,
to make any sort of profit that is anything over 2-300 would be amazing in this climate.
so i reality i think people could be falling out over very little even htough looks like lot more on the surface
so go chat privately 1st befor eyou let all of us judge you.
i wouldnt have been happy if was me people were talking about and not let me know htey are nto happy

its a bit late to stand back saying NO NAMES GIVEN as the majority of the irish GSers generally talk to each other at various events and so on.
NOT VERY NICE TELLING A NEW MEMBER "ITS A BIT SENSITIVE"
new members should be welcomed with open arms as we once were.
I WOULD APPEAL TO THE MODS AND HAVE THIS THREAD CLOSED AS THE PARTIES INVOLVED SHOULD DEAL WITH THIS OFFLINE.

no one would've known to whom you referred without personal knowledge of what happened.Kami didn't give the info.
I've pmed Frank explaining how I felt. He has way less to say in pm's than he said on here.

this thread was started by a third party and is not directly involved,
if kamikaze was involved in the dealings, then by all means go and post his opinion, based on his dealings.
myself & GSless where directly involved, we agreed a price and the deal was done. no problems or regrets. i would certainly deal with him again.
this thread has turned into pi$%ing contest and when the dust settles,
everyone will move on to some other crap. its frank and orla that i feel sorry for as this should have been dealt with offline. frank has explained all aspects of the dealings and asked valid questions about why he was not contacted by phone or pm.
very easy to start a thread on potentially sensitive subjects about other people and stand back to let it all kick off.
if kamikaze was involved in the dealings, then by all means go and post his opinion, based on his dealings.

That is such an unfair thing to say Frank. It sounds like I sent you an abusive pm. I didn't. I'm not going to lower myself to your level by posting the pm I sent you even though it would change the opinion of many on here.
