Roller bearing

I changed mine last week. Couldn´t work out how the roller came to be loose, but there was an empty space in the wheelside plastic roller cage.

Maybe the PO disloged it on reassembly, because it is a bit of a fiddle lining up the shafts .

I also put a dob of sealant in the output shaft seal vent hole , which has worked a treat. Thanks.

It's my understanding that the paralevers are meant to have a teaspoon of oil in the drive shaft, and that this small amount needs to be added on re-assembly. Not exactly sure why, but can't do any harm that I can think of.

Mine always seems to have a small amount in. IIRC I've seen some thoughts that it can harm the shock arbsorbing bit of the drive shaft.
