Guys, I know you cannot officially export routes to a Nuvi 265; however, i am sure there must be a way around this. Anyone got any ideas/experience?

My thoughts so far: EasyGPS software? Create track logs and manually add them to the appropriate file on the GPS?

Thanks

Sorry, won't work.

The only way is to add all points as favourites and then stop every now and again and enter the next two. One as destination and other as via-point. You need your via-points close enough together so that the GPS has no choice but to follow your intended route.

All in all a total faff and not worth the bother TBH.

Just bought a Nuvi 765T brand new on eBay for £115 delivered. Registered on myGarmin and maps updated to latest 2011.20 version. This will do routes in the proper sense and is a darn sight cheaper than a Zumo even if you factor in a Givi GPS pouch and rigging up a means to power it off the bike. However, it's for the wife to use in the car, I'm sticking with my StreetPilot 2720 for the bike.

I was wondering if you can artificially create a track log in your Garmin, which you can then follow, same process as if you had already followed the same track yourself
