I'm nearing the end of rewiring a 1990 BMW R80RT and was diagnosing some issues with the lighting circuit that seemed to come down to very worn internals of the main light switch (top right of left switchgear)
I had some time to spare while waiting on some other parts so I modelled the yellow part and 3D printed a functional replacement that restored my switch from being spongy back into having a solid feel to it. It's not an exact copy and I'd certainly tweak the design a little if I need another.
Not sure if anyone is in need of a replacement switch lever at all, I've printed it in blue as it's all I had to hand - but I might pick up a spool of yellow ASA if there's any interest. It was definitely cheaper than buying a replacement switchgear.
