300 miles in…. But no rain to speak of.
A. The suit, despite not having a Gore-Tex liner or bonded Gore-Tex is heavy.
B. It has more zip vent things, than a zip vent shop.
C. Today’s temperature, at a guess, was low to mid 20’s C to occasionally high twenties and often very overcast. In short, warm to very warm and humid.
D. On the move, it’s fine, the wind penetrating the vents but, the cooling effect is simply down to sweat evaporation and being vented out.
E. As soon as you stop, the heat builds up, very quickly. Similarly, if you walk anywhere in the suit. That is not surprising.
F. Mine now fits perfectly, but I had to have it altered significantly.
G. After a few rides, the top will probably look pretty filthy. Great for that authentic ‘Adventure’ (with a capital A) look.
G. More tomorrow, as I might see some decent rain at some point.
