Had a problem with my Armax jacket a couple of weeks ago when the main zip pull detached itself making the zip difficult to operate . I bought the jacket from Biker Shop in germany some two & half years ago . On contacting the shop by email they arranged for a courier to the jacket up . They then informed me again by email two days ago that the jacket was on it`s way together with a DHLtracking code . The jacket has now been delivered . They sent a brand new jacket complete , even though the one I sent them had the armour & inner jacket removed .

This is truly excellent sevice & all at no cost ( including shipping costs ) to myself .

Well done Rukka . I know the zip pull should not have failed but I`ve repaired many other zips myself using a key ring as the puller .

How`s that for sevice ?

What response did you get Garry, cause I'm about to buy a rukka suit from them. I asked them if it affected my warranty and they said it didnt.

Also if you buy from bikerland do you get charged vat or import tax by the courier

The service from these guys is first class to be fair...I bought full suit and boots and the price was first class....they did tell me at the time that my warranty would be sorted via the UK importer, who are a little relucant, partly becaused I cant find my receipt.....but once I dig it out I think I will be able to get it sorted but it.

Rukka themselves also told me the uk importer should fix.

No issues with vat and stuff as this is an EU sale (Germany > UK or Ire).

I would suggest that you ask them for there best price, I did and got excellent deal and their price was way cheaper than anywhere lese by a country mile.

When I replace my Rukka I'm going for Halverson safety suit, so that I replace the outerliner, as and when they wear out....as I use my kit every day and it takes it toll, on zips and fastners.
