I'm thinking of ordering a Rukka suit but have not had the chance to try one on:blast

A dangerous game I know.

The jacket / pants I've seen are the Marco and units

I have HG now and tried some other HG on also -cruise and Master V

Jacket at 54 is fitted on the body but too tight on the neck. A 56 is right for the neck but loose around the waist.

My HG trousers are Large (not marked in euro for whatever reason) and are a bit tight on the waist when wearing a layer.

So I'm guessing at 56 for the Rukka Marco Jacket and 54 for the tousers?

Any views before a order a load of ill fitting kit from abroad:eek:

just bought mine from touratech as they have an offer on £32 more than i could have got an site abroad & i havea british garantee

rukka

Warranty wise it's covered as in the eu, i have a size 56 hein gericke suit as the 54 was slightly to tight, i have tried on the marco and unit trousers and a 54 fitted perfectly and much better tailored/fitting.

So to clarify, My 54 HG is just big enough on the body but tight on the neck

A HG 56 is perfect on the neck but a bit baggy on the body?

How does that compare with how you found them? Is the neck more generous on the Rukka?

Thanks for that. It works out about £100 more still than buying from Germany but I suppose you get the UK cover.

Talking of which, with the Euro zone and all that do they not have to honour this where ever they are purchased?

Bought my Rukka from Infinity.

Go in try a size then they will order what jacket etc you want.

best bit was - they would meet ANY internet deal I could find.

saved a fortune -- about £250 - £300 and still have UK warranty

Rukka

I felt the neck on the rukka was larger, but is totally different because of the neoprene 'scarf' on the jacket, negating the need for a neck tube or the like during the cold.

I'm in North Staffs or Birmingham.

Isn't Infinity in London?

Anyway, the only stockist so far as I can see is Cannock, waiting to hear if they have much in stock to try.

A HG in 54 is very tight on the neck with nothing under and impossible to tilt my head when wearing a layer.

Difficult without trying to be sure then:blast:D

Rukka sizing is fairly normal fitting but tending towards the large side

I'm a 46 chest and have plenty of room in the 58 Euro size Allroad so maybe could have gone for a 56

I am a 36-38 waist depending on the cut and the 54 Euro trousers fit very well with adjustment either way

I've tried Infinity,

they say they will only match UK dealer prices?

Given I've been offered a Marco /Unit suit for £500 posted from Germany it's diffficult to justify paying so much extra for a UK warranty.:blast

I tried on both HG and Rukka, Rukk afit me better. I had the same problem with HG they were also too tight on arms and chest for me. I found Rukka better. I have a size 45 chest, 18inch neck and I found Rukka fine. Actually I found the fittings and size charts to be bang on.

My measurements were Chest 45 inches, waist 39 inches. According to the Rukka size chart I should have a size 56 jacket and a 56 trousers - I tried these on and they were bang on. I also the tried the sizes up and they were too big. With HG I found that the I needed to go up a size from the sizing chart to get the right fit and the HG fit was awkward, if I wore 56 it was perfect except arms and chest too tight, if I went up a size it was too loose around the waist and too long. Whereas Rukka was bang on.

Do a google for 'Rukka size chart' on the net.

Thanks for the info all,

However, after mesing you around I've bought a HG Master V instead:blast:D

I got 30% off (or will have ) by asking for 10% then getting a load of the gift vouchers:thumb

The Marco suit I'd been offerd was cheap though, £500 posted from Germany but decided all things concidered the waterproof outer of the HG would be best at that price.
