EURO-5 as in even quieter and leaner running engines will come in 2020 for all new models and in 2021 for bikes currently in production...if the EU should survive until then.I'd say let's go back to EURO-3 which was good enogh for environment and good running engines that sounded like motorcycles...
And I think we can look forward to a R 1300 GS as 1280 cc is closer to 1300 than 1250.But who knows as they call a 2 liter 4 cylinder turbo a 328...
One thing for sure both S1000RR and R 1XXX GS will get lighter,more powerful and better handling according to the BMW man in charge which is a good thing...
