Have been reading some old threads about chips and stuff. Thinking along the lines of a Techlusion chip and having it fitted TTS Engineering. Will get a Dyno done before and after to post on the site.
Getting a bit paranoid as my bike seems to be doind sh#t loads more to the tankfull to everyboby elses bike which might indicate that it is running lean. What sort of milage are you lot getting to a tank? The light comes on about 210 miles then i will take it to 250 miles before filling up. I am running a Remus "Y" piece Grand Prix end pipe, Carbon intake snorkel and a K&N air filter... Has been like this for a year now so i know it is a bit late to be worrying but i thought i would get some thoughts from the experts... (Failing that any replies to this post would be helpfull!)
Mark:)

filled mine up today, 220 miles light just come on.

this tank took me off road yesterday, so in 1-2-3 gear loads of revs for a couple of hours, then a 60 mile blast with commuter and MR Tickle, at around the 100mph for most of it.

C|-|rist - mine comes on at 165 miles if I'm swinging on the throttle a bit! Best I've managed is about 185 on a gentle run, with a further 30 in reserve. Is your riding style....hmmmm.... less than 'progressive' or is your bike super-economical?

Similar results here. I reckon everyone else must ride like a BMW rider.... :D

Mostly commuting to work and back thru town stop start. I was even better on a run last Friday evening when i went down to London to pick up some second hand T66`s from someone off this board. Got to 270 miles then i chickened out as it is a big heavy sod to push! Seems to get better as the miles go on... I was wondering as i am thinking of fitting a techlusion box and wondered what people were getting to a tank with one of these fitted? I have to use it everyday for work so i dont want to find its only doing 30 to the gallon or something silly after i fit one..

If it aint broke don't fix it!!!!!!

Why would you want to spend more money at the petrol station? And have to visit more frequently to do so? ... Oh the attendant is attractive? Or they give away free beer with every tank full .. :beerjug:

No i just thought i would try and get the very most i could out of the bike without going to the extreme of cams and polishing and stuff. But as it is also a commuter i dont want to drop down too much in the MPG department. Am happy with the bike but as most of the Tossers on here will know, they are never "PERFECT" always some mod to do..... Clown :0)

What should i be looking for? I know light brown deposits when i had my MK2 Escort was a good sigh that all was well with the twin choke webber.. Mark :0)

PLUGS...

Will have a look at the plugs tomorrow when i get home form work. When you say dont over tighten them, what are we talking here? No torque wrench and big heavy fists that will pass for hands. Just a quick tweak after it is tight? As to the exhaust colour? As blask as a sweeps asshole, has been from the day i had my bike. It is on 14K miles now and still burns more oil than my old MZ 125. Mark :0)
