Rydales

BUMP.

Any more news?

had a letter from rydales this morning....usual corporate waffle...effectively they are saying they are having a clearance sale and have a few bikes with the odd hundred quid knocked off, plus other bits and pieces at discount prices whilst stocks last....all in all, I guess they have been ordered not to say they are closing the bike department but sell everything off anyway....

so they are not closing...:augie

but they are selling everything off...:o

I guess they are going to say next that due to a restructuring they will be downsize the staff in the bike department by reallocating resources...this will, of course, mean an even better quality of service for bikers in the long term as the changes roll out, and we musnt panic!:(

SPIN, don't you just love it!

Russ-see the post above yours from Peter @ Rydale,it's the most honest response you are going to get under the circumstances ,seems to me that the current staff are being treated like mushrooms by their new corporate owners i.e. fed shit and kept in the dark :nenau

I got an invitation in the post yesterday from Rydale (BMW dealer Cardiff-for the time being), it made me chuckle a bit ;)
It reads...............

RYDALE CARDIFF CLEARANCE EVENT
Saturday 10th March

Featuring;

NO HOG ROAST
NO BURGER VAN
NO NIBBLES
NO PAINTED LADIES
NO "CELEBRITIES"
NO STUNTS

Because these are "Gimmicks" other dealers think you want (and you pay for) we know what you really want is a new or used BMW motorcycle at the lowes price

They go on to list what appears to be,fairly reasonable discounts on new & used bikes............

Plus "Crazy Helmet Deals"
BMW Enduro helmets from £175
BMW sport integral helmets from £125

Plus "See the new G series 650 range, and a chance to win one.

Given their current uncertain future it's good to see they have maintained a sense of humour :D

In fairness when I was in there last week I was offered a cracking deal on one of their helmets, unfortunately they were all to small:(

Yes mate it is sad to see the way some organisations seem to treat their staff, I thought I had made that point ....but when I reread it is not as clear as i had hoped! I had the same letter....the hints are getting broader, arn;t they?:augie

FFS my 06 GS1200 was booked into Rydales for next thurs 6k service and some bits to be changed under warranty.

Yesterday I get a call from Mike, saying they had no Technicians, they'd all left for new jobs so were cancelling all work they were trying to get some temps but was told not to hold my breath.

It was bad enough having to travel 50m to them but now it's 90m to Bath road in Bristol boo hoo.

It'll be the first time I've used them. Mike who I talked to seemed very friendly and helpful.
Anyone had dealings with them, deejay don't answer

about time you had a decent bike then....save miles travelling to get it serviced too....

wooooosh.........plop!!!!
