I originally bought a Scala Q2 to work with my Zumo 550. The Bluetooth was OK for the GPS but listening to music via MP3 on the Zumo was pretty bad. When I broke the Q2 I decided to buy a new G4 which I'm happy with except the Bluetooth is still dreadfull from the 550 for music. I expected this really due to the 550's dual mono system but the quality via the cable is fantastic.

Can anyone who has both a Zumo 660 and Scala G4 tell me what they think of the audio quality especially via the Bluetooth and MP3's? Even better if you have had a 550 and Q2 and therefore know how it compares. I'm thinking of upgrading to a 660 but would only be happy doing so if the stereo Bluetooth on the 660 really is good and with enough volume.

I had the 550 and now have the 660, I now use the SCR collar in a C3 and it works the same as the Q2/G4 it's pretty loud and speed variable. I'd say the Q2 was louder no idea on the G4. As for quality it's as near a damn it as good as the 550 through my Starcom, just no need for all the wires.

Still a few issues with returning to MP3 after a phone call, but most people do not believe I'm on a bike when I get a call.

Hope that helps

I'm using Zumo 660 and have tried both Scala Rider G4 and Chatterbox Xbi. Bluetooth transmission to both work well, but I like Xbi sound more because there is less treble and more bass. Battery operation time is better on the G4 though.
