More suggestions for rally waypoints.
I have had ideas for a couple more venues.
The Bridge over the Atlantic (Clachan Bridge) on the B844 to Seil Island
Nice run from any direction.
John Paul Jones Cottage at Arbigland just South of Dumfries
J.P. Jones was the founder of the US Navy
Polphail the ghost village near Portavadie in Argyll.
I have never been to this one but it sounds interesting and I imagine it would be a nice run through Argyll.

Not from this quarter you dont; I did a Scottish Photo Rally in the mid 70's & will happily do the proposed event if you guys just get on with doing your homework.
The first Photo Rally that I was aware of was in Ireland in 1974 but would guess that the idea predates this event.

Wakey, wakey guys winter is nearly over. There is man willing to do the work to get this photo rally up and running, so how about giving him a wee bit of a help by suggesting some waypoints. So far from what has been suggested on here and with the addition of a few of my own I have a list of 18 possible destinations that I have emailed to deadseriousdave. [email protected]

9. Ardnamurchan Lighthouse. Most Western point on mainland
10. Tobermory
11. Lost, Aberdeenshire
12. Eilean Donan castle
13. Stromeferry, No Ferry, sign post on A890
14. Dunnet Head, near John O’Groats. Most Northerly point on mainland
15. Mull of Galloway. Most Southern point on mainland
16. Keith Inch, Petrhead. Most Eastern point on mainland
