Will the GSA seat fit onto a standard GS? If so, any appreciable height difference from stock GS?

No..................not without all the bracketry from a GSA fitted to your GS

Can be done though

Not a show stopper, I have a GSA with GS dualseats and another one with stock GSA singleseat

Don't expect it to be any more comfy though - I have Corbins on both my bikes
