Everywhere and nowhere baby!
Anyone had an annual service (fluids only) recently on a GS 12 ABS? Oh, and it's red in case it makes a difference!

How much should you be looking at paying approximately?

Ta, Skippy.

Is your next mileage service due soon? You'll probably save quite a bit by combining them, as there are several common items. I think my last service, which was 18,000 miles and an annual ("BMW Service with Annual Inspection") cost about 150 pounds. People in the south seem to pay quite a lot more, from what's been said on here.

I was phoning around today and Battersea quoted me £370 for the 12k plus annual. SLM want £280. Prestige said they'd call back but didn't. How much did it cost at Steptoe's?

Got mine done (12k + annual) at sawbridgeworth in hertford - £265 including a loan bike.

My 12,000 + annual thingy + rear tyre cost £370 @ Mill, Boldon.

:tears

Not too bad, I suppose?

Have they dropped their prices? Last time I was there, their price for just the 12k service (on an 1150) was in the region of £350.

I have not used them but Oxford quoted me £180 inclusive of parts for a 6000 mile service and £200 or £220 (can't remember which) for 12K.

I might try them for the next service.

1200GS 12K service £250 inc rear pads

just had 12k service at NORTH OXFORD BMW just under £250 including rear brake pads - also had a brand new RT1200 overnight / next day as a courtesey bike. bloody good service.

SPC look competitive!

Maybe want to look at SPC cos they were talking around the £180 mark.

Mind you, I've only got just under 2k miles on it (not been riding due to unforseen off in Feb).

And they've just got another guy in the workshop so capacity has increased.

Skippy.

Service Costs

Bloody Hell, servicing costs a fortune in the UK. I remember taking my Triumph T595 for its 20k service to Jack Lilley, Shepperton went to pick it up and they said "No problems with the bike at all, that'll be 370" I couldn't believe it.

It seems like we pay the same in A$ as you guys pay in GBP.

Fuel costs $1.28 a litre here, 51p roughly, everyone can't stop whingeing about how the economies going to colapse because fuel costs so much.
