Contact Mikeyboy if you want a good independent to service your bike. You will get a much better service, know your bike has been looked at properly, a lot cheaper and it WILL NOT affect your warranty if that's an issue for you.
Won't affect the original 2 year warranty (not that that's an issue now for the vast majority of hexheads) but I believe it's a contractual term of the insurance based BMW extended job that it's serviced by a BMW dealer. I know it was when mine reached its 2nd birthday.

According to my Ridders manual the next service is due 19/02/2016 or 16240miles which ever comes first, my millage at the moment is 15173miles, probally do that 1000 miles in the next 3 weeks.
Prevous service was done 19/3/2016, millage 10240.
I have Phoned Roy Pidcock up a couple of times for a quotation and still waiting for them to get back to me.
