Servicing Costs (it really does !)

mine will be due a service later in the year and im pretty sure i will travel down to jeffries to get it done, i bought the bike from them and they seemed genuine. tried coopers at boldon but they could not get near what jeffries offered me

..I just cant understand why they charge so much for such a simple and very quick job..

Be careful with your advice - It isn't such a quick and simple job on pre 2008 servo braked bikes.

Indeed! I took my 2006 GS to an independent and stood around drinking coffee while he changed the brake fluid on my linked, ABS equipped bike. 'twas not a 5 minute job. He hadn't actually done a 1200 before but he had all the special screw in funnels, etc. that are essential to make the job go smoothly. Otherwise I'd have DIM!
