Gs is a Fuguly bike which you have made pretty. It is like lipstick on a gorilla. If you wanted a gold wing ya should have bought one so I understand your dilemma!! :thumb :thumb otherwise they are lovely!!!

So can I

In fact I did 288 miles last week on mine.

Plus, the computer is about to click over back to zero again. Which means that since Jan 1st last year I would have done 9999 miles.

Which given the amount of GS's that I have seen over the last two years is about three times more than most people ride - motorised.

So.................. :dabone

Just don't have a crash. :(

Have you read this thread and this thread?

Andy

hi Humbug,

Yes - have read these already, and although it caused some concern it's also the sort of thing that you get with all bikes and lots of siutations.

I've read with interest and taken note, but not unduly worried.

Thanks though.

Dan

Reality check . . . .Panniers . . .. . .For a ride out. .. . .???

What the hell are you taking on a ride out that would mean you need panniers?

...ah...that's the ride out up to the local Tesco to get me shopping...and my reality seemed fine the last time I checked...which was a while ago admittedly... :dabone

Thanks Ian, A voice of reason :D :D :D :D

I only asked in the first place for a laugh, some great opinions, and some ugly personal comments . . . . .

It takes all sorts I suppose :thumb :thumb

Oh, come on...the nature of this site is BANTER...that's what makes it such a laugh. You must have known you were going to get some stick ...it's the nature of the beast (you were unsure yourself, hence the post). I've read all the posts in this thread...and to me they are just BANTER...(support me on this one guys...I'm going out on a limb!)...don't take anything too personally. :thumb (...bloody aweful though weren't they...) - THIS IS A JOKE BY THE WAY!!!!! If we meet, I'll buy you the pint ( :beerjug: ) for starting a great thread.
