What put me off 'em was when I rang to book a test ride on a Ducati Multi and I was told there would be a £30 charge for insurance.

It still cost me £30 to have a test ride but that was in petrol down to dealer in Shipley but had a nice day out to boot.

Agree Custom lids is an excellent shop, Kev and co go out of their way to help.
Gary at M & S is spot on too, if you have a problem go see him , sort it out.

Found the lads at Mill BMW to be very helpful, no problems.

And did you buy the bike?

because someone had to pay for the insurance, the prep and clean, and take the depreciation hit!

looks like you stuffed the Shipley dealer on that cost!

I bought a new Pikes Peak and put £2k worth of extras on it. He didnt mention the cost of ins, prep or even depreciation.

Regards £30 for insurance, Garry at M & S is a top bloke, explained the test ride I have planned for the new KTM adventure is through a broker and the £30 is a cost. If you run a dealership the idea is you make a profit not a loss. They get charged this so pass the cost on, take it or leave it.

Not so long a go you could not get a demo ride, now for the sake of a few ££ , to try a bike for a couple of hours , is a good deal.

Been to the hill on Monday and you could not get shifted for bikes, real good buzz, good patter too.Greek bait shop, chicken tika wrap in flat bread chilli , damn !

The guys at Mill / Coopers are top bananas . Paul sorted a problem out and saved me at least £100 after a daft moment i had.They bend over backwards to help.

There's no way I'd pay £30 insurance for a test ride
Traders insurance covers you for that especially a large company like m+s
If it didn't they should pay a higher premium and either take it off the profit on a bike or bump the price accordingly

Greek resturaunt is Turkish when it first opened I thought it was sacralise that a smelly Turk took over the hill cat hen I tried the food Awesome
I eat there at least once a week real quality try the shishliks ( mini lamb chops) with the tika wrap mmmmmmm

been shopping for a new helmet , went into M&S walk up to the Arai helmet stand and their it was tour x in the right size and the colour I wanted , stood their for about 5 mins could be abit more , 3 m&s staff stood talking to a lad about a Suzuki t-shirt I asked , any body dealing with the helmets , got a reply of 2 minutes m8 after another five mins I walked out passed the owner Ian and said god no wonder I buy off the internet
