Right,I have in my posession,a fine specimen of a shitebag.

What I need to know is if it can be fitted to an 1100GS with a VP45 tankbag in place, If so,how the feck do you do it.

Thankyou greatly, the pish taking may begin,as long as there is a usful answer in there somewhere:rolleyes:

No idea. :augie

On the other hand, I have fitted my shytebag on an 1100 and on my 1150adv over a tankbag.

Modify straps, don't use the neck-loops and improvise :thumb2

Is there a specific problem Vern?

Do you HAVE to use the tankbag, given that you gain a marsupianesque pouch as soon as you put on a shytebag? :nenau

Are you having a senior moment dear? :comfort

Remount the tank bag....slide it back so it nuzzles into your gentleman's vegetables (or is yours one of those bling ones that attaches to the tank filler plate?)....that will take the height out and allow the hump of the sheeeeeeitbag to go over it., and it gives you something to hump while you ride....win win situation :thumb2

The straps have always been a 'mix and make do' affair......there are enough loop points on the s-bag to use on any variant I've tried on though, with or without crash bars.....the throttle body air intakes, around the crash bars, under the pots, even down to the sump guard......there will be a place you'll find , probably in the light though, plus a few well chosen bad words :)

The only trick I had to use with a tank bag was to lose the neck strap from the s-bag.......I did offer it all up with the bag mounted ON TOP of the s-bag, but it didn't look right so I didn't try and ride with it like that (the front bib wouldn't come high enough over my slipped chest to make it feel right)......it may well work though....you are a few inches shorter than me (Note, I'm being really polite here, shortarse :P) so tank baggy on top of s-baggy might work for you :nenau

You'll find a way :thumb2

fit the tank bag first then adjust the shite bag around the bag thats how i did it on my 850

Fit the shitebag first then put the tank bag back on, that's how I did it on my R1150GS and R1100S.

Ahhhh.....the joys of advice :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Bollox....fit them both at the same time, then you can balance it all up properly :augie

This is a wind up right.........:thumb

Next thing Vern will be telling us he's developed an interest in soft furnishings :D
