Have to say my most memorable would be this. Not quite in the Classic, classic mode but a classic all the same.
It felt fast, smooth, and very very flickable!

Possibly the 4 stroke version of the RD250 LC, was good for 110mph, typical Honda build quality and reliability, I loved it.
The picture of course is not mine, but I can't scan at the minute so this will have to do!

Picked this one up this week. The Mac 4 into 2 makes a nice sound
I first toured abroad (France) in 84 on a GS850 the same age and coloour as this one. Did 2 months getting down to and around Greece and back up through Turkey in 85. That was the start of all this m/c travel nonsense
One of the most reliable, comfortable bikes I ever owned.

My "classic"

It's a 1987 R80RS.

I first "met" it while working for Kawasaki in the '80's. The guy wanted to p/ex it for a GPZ summat or other. It had a mere 425 miles on the clock and was only a couple of months old.

My uncle bought it from us, and as he only has one arm, had the switchgear converted so he could use it.

He had it for years until getting a K75S and selling the R80 to a mate of his. Said mate put it in his garage and didn't use it. I jumped at it when it came for sale with only 25,000 miles on it.
