Show us your Classic M/C

WOW looks brilliant , love the leg shields :thumb youve done a great job , i love MZs. they're the equivalent to the cockroach (in the nicest possible way) in that theyed be the only survivor after a nuclear war :bow:bow.
they handle well too and nice and light:thumb

We didn't do anything, Just put it back together again ... all original :thumb

Equivalent to the cockroach ... Ha, never heard that before but just about sums them up :thumb

Indeed, they'll be around long after the motronic, abs, fly by wire, canbus, ecu, ews, digital feckers have been lost in to the annals of history

Finally got round to taking some photo's with the new pipes and silencers fitted.

Had a lovely (cold) ride on it today. :thumb2

Now I must get round to building the other one. :blast

Another Triumph: 1977 T140V.
An old girlfriend owned this when we were knocking around together in the early eighties. We toured France in 1984 for a fortnight on my Suzuki GS850G thinking we were real adventurers because it was our first time abroad on a M/C. She owned this Triumph for about 24 years but didn't ride it for the last 5 because of ill health. She sold it about 8 years back and it was totally restored and then laid up.
I built an extension for the lass a year ago and she often talked about how much she regretted selling the Triumph even though she knew she would never ride it again. Unfortunately she passed away in January this year so when an acquaintance told me where the bike was, I contacted the owner who informed me he would be willing to sell. I last rode the bike as a pillion about 30 years ago. Anyway, it's nice to have a Triumph with a bit of sentimental value. I know Lorraine would be chuffed that I now own the bike :beerjug:

We were together for about a year in our early twenties Micky and stayed friends after we split. Unfortunately she suffered dreadful health in the later part of her life and passed away aged 53. The Triumph was her pride and joy so it's nice I can enjoy and look after it until the next owner (in many years time hopefully).
Maybe I will leave the rear pegs down so her memory can take a spin with me :beerjug:
