I'm sure that since I had the 6,000 mile service the bike won't start when in gear (clutch in)! Have the H&S police screwed it up for me?

Have to select neutral to get it to start. A bit embarrassing today when I stalled it at a junction and it took ages to find neutral...

Could be a temperamental clutch switch?

Only with the side stand down. Check the cut out switch on the side stand.

Everything at the sidestand seems to be working. Going to pop it into Cotswold next week for them to have a recce.
