Sorry of covered before, but I could find the answer.

I'm trying to find a single to twin USB adapter with some weather shielding so I can power my phone and my GoPro from the single USB outlet to the right of the TFT screen on my bike.

Does anyone have a good solution please?

Anyone?

You maybe better adding another from the battery, as you will need to deliver enough power

I did look on Amazon & NN before asking.

I found nothing on Amazon.

NN have this https://www.nippynormans.com/f800-a...-usb-socket-for-bmw-motorcycles-plug-and-play

but I'm not convinced that it will keep out water in heavy rain. The covers are fine when the ports are not being used, but the ports are in the rougly horrizontal plane, whereas the sinle USB fitted

is in the vertical plane & has a bit of a collar to keep out the rain.

have you considered a Y splitter such as https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/373067136034

just be aware, as already mentioned above, you will be sharing the meagre output of the single socket between 2 devices. If one of those is a phone being used as a satnav then you might not have enough amps. However, if all you are doing is charging a passive phone in your tankbag and a camera battery then the shared current won't be a problem, just that it will take longer to get to full charge.

your best bet is to wire in a dual socket that feeds from the bike's 12V so that it can offer 2 or 3 amps in each USB socket.

Thanks. Was it easy to fit?
Yes. Unplug the connector at the rear of the socket, unscrew the retaining nut and remove the socket. Fit new one, secure with retaining nut and plug in.

We fitted one in the car park of Touratech in Germany in less than 10mins.

Edit: check out
to see how to install them

You need to ask if the socket will deliver enough of a current for the two devices to maintain there charge

I did what AndrewG did and replaced the BMW socket with a twin one which was worlds better
