it's a calling.....Pikey.
I'm yearning for the open road, the smell of tramac and the touch of scrap metal...!
They are ok , warm ,cosy and keeps the riff raff out, which is the most important thing 
I can easily bring the round drum fire pit no problem and with a little extra effort if its needed the half drum BBQ as before please advise
I can do kindling wood for fire starting but I'm short on logs as I'm burning coal in my multi fuel fire at home

oooh riff raff..... yes best to keep them away....They are ok , warm ,cosy and keeps the riff raff out, which is the most important thing
I have standards.... (low attainable standards, but they are standards)

No problem. Let’s forget the wood, the fire drum and my pop-up Braai, which really does work best with wood logs.
If the half drum burns charcoal and can be brought with you, can you bring it, please. We’ll obviously need sufficient charcoal, too. We can hopefully use that in place of my Braai. By all means, bill us for the charcoal.
I will bring my bigger Webber Q and gas bottle as well.
Can we assume you'll be cycling?

Gentlemen, I have a dilemma!

The very good tank museum is close by. Last time we walked (to have a sandwich) but were thwarted in our cross country traipse by a very badly flooded field.
T E Lawrence’s house, memorial and grave are not far away. Just looking at a map, there’s the town of Tolpuddle. That rang a bell. It’s the home of the ‘Tolpuddle Martyrs’. There’s a museum recording their lives.

Gents, I am going to have to excuse myself from this. My Mom has booked an impromptu flight to come and visit from SA and it falls over this weekend. As mush as she loves bikes, camping in Feb is not her thing. I'll have to let Paul be the

It could have faded, but I have checked under the cover and thankfully it’s still definitely orange!
Not sure if its of interest to you guys but the MOD gunnery ranges are open for your dates and so access to Tyneham Village is possible. Some nice rides around there as well as long as the weather isn't too crap when the lanes can get a bit pebbly.

If you're feeling fit and the weather's nice then Kimmeridge Bay & the Clavell Tower could be an idea although access to the car park is via a toll road (£1.20 for bikes).
Portland could be another shout with views over Chesil Beach. Just don't mention rabbits to the locals.
Edit: a bit further afield is the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton. Quite a nice road out that way.
Ahh yes, the firing ranges .. some excellent roads and views.
Always try and get onto the ranges whenever I’m in the area.
