Spain and Portugal May 2013

Hi RJC - thanks for all the info and pictures. I will be in Braganca for 2 nights with 8 friends in mid June and would appreciate any information regarding the best places to eat and enjoy a few beers & wines. We are all 50+ but enjoy good food and wine. Any ideas gratefully received to save wasted time.

This is "the" place:

If only stay for 2 days probably only will need one meal :D

Ask for the house wine, red or white are both great, and the private Port wine witch is delicious.

Just at side of the restaurant are typical houses with multiple rooms for accommodation.

And don't forget to eat "alheira"

Thanks RJC - we have a hotel booked but will give the restaurant a try.

And it only costs 11€/person!

This is getting interesting We will be in Braganca 27th June and will be looking for good restaurant and accommodation within walking distance of each other so we can enjoy a drink or more without getting back on the bike I note the restaurants described but does anyone know details of places to stay that meet our criteria?
