Spare cable & plug?

I have just taken the tank off my 12GS to fit the front accessory socket. Having put the tank back and I noticed a spare cable hanging down by the left injector body. The cable has a blue & yellow cable with a injector style plug on the end. Any ideas what it's for and where it belongs?.

Could be the 12V connection point for the GPS Navigator... I've heard there's a connection somewhere on the wiring loom.
