I have been with them over 20 years and pay shedloads for the full cover but they can kiss my a*rse come renewal.

This is an old thread now but I'm with MAG Rescue and they have'nt tried to recover from anyone the times I have used them.
The AA point about recovering from some nebulous third party presumes that
a) there is one,
b) They are not one of the un-insured bastards who usually get away with it. (Been there, got mine,but it took two+ years, private dicks the lot, legal policy insurers were pleading with me to let it go and to accept my massive losses!)
It it is either a or b the AA and the RAC try to claim it from you.
