speed limit - wrong units

I have been having the same issue and sent an email a week or two back.
I got a response today:

"Dear Tosser,

Thank you for your e-mail. We appreciate your efforts to direct your request to us.

We know about the mentioned behaviour showing a wrong speed limit. There is already a ticket submitted to the responsible developers. A solution should be released within one of the next updates. Please just be patient.

afternoon,

Had my '19 1250GSA for a month or so now, and have been using the connected app for nav etc. Until yesterday all was good - but the units for the speed limits has changed - bikes speed is in MPH but the roads speed limit has changed to KPH (shows 46 in a white rectangle on 30mph roads, 80 instead of 50 etc).

From manuals I think the speed and speed limit should both be the same units, and if set to kph should be in a red circle and mph in a white rectangle - I'm only getting the white square...

anyone got any good ideas how to kick it back into sense?

If you read above, You'll see its a bug in the software, and that BMW will rectify it in the next update .

Morning Tossers. It appears the slight glitch of showing KPH instead of MPH has been fixed. Was a pleasure this morning to have imperial units of speed on the dash, instead of those dodgy metric thingys

How do you know when it`s been updated - can you check somewhere?
Yes, went out today and it`s fixed.

I have an iPhone. It tells me when it's carried out an update, in App Store.
