Hello Everyone,
I have recently relocated to live in the UK. Unfortunately during the process of emigration I was separated from my GS (1200) . My plan is to bring her into the country as soon as possible.
That brings me to the first technical question I would like to ask all of you GSers out there with a couple of million kms riding experience between you: The speedometer needs to be converted from kmph to mph to be able to legally ride on British roads. Is there a less costly option to changing the complete speedometer unit? It was indicated there might be a sticker or transfer available?
Keep the shiny side up

My 99 varadero had a kph speedo. I worked out the equivalent in mph and put a few stickers on thye speedo at 30mph, 50mph and 70mph.
Worked well and passed mot's fine:thumb2

Does the speedo not have mph in smaller text already?
And, where did you move from? :)

SPEEDOMETER KPH/MPH

Hi,
there is always a chance I might be a juvenile Presbyope, but even though, I should have noticed an extra gradation on the speedo in mph. Thanks for your reply.
