Anyone make an 'Everlast' rubber solution paint?
You could take a tin with you on a long trip and when your tyres get worn and you don't think you'll make it home......Paint on some 'new rubber' a mm or so thick and you're good to go another few hundred miles!
If you kept painting it on it would make your tyres last indefinately........!

You can reprofile your tyres if you do square them off by doing circular burnouts making sure you lean the bike over as you do them.Your tyres won't wear if you don't use 6th gear
Word of caution. Dont do them outside a police station just as 2 very bored looking PCSO's happen to walk by. DAMHIK.
