starcom problem.

Hi all.
i have just noticed my starcom digital is live even without having a headset plugged in. The system is powered via the front canbus socket, and it does turn off after the ignition is turned off.
Any ideas why ?.

You did connect the unit direct to the batt?

Should be wired directly into the battery as the negative lead on the batt is where the Starcom dumps all the noise.
