I had a ride on the Stelvio today from Midland Scooter Centre in Stapleford Nottingham, what a nice bike. No buffeting from the electric screen, lovely character from then engine. It was a hot day and of course the transverse engine chucked out loads of heat onto your legs, but no worse than many other bikes.

I could flatfoot it at 5'11 and a bit and it got a shift on when needed, power was adequate.

Radar was rubbish, as it was continually alerting when filtering but the beeping noise did help some cars get out of the way. Shod with Michelin Anakee Adventures which are my favourite tyre it seemed to handle really well.

Overall a lovely bike that has given me something to think about.

I've grown to really enjoy mine as well. The one issue I have, and you mentioned it, is the heat. Specifically as temps climb over 30, by 35 I find it pretty bad. I don't believe it's due to the cylinders out to the sides much because heat hasn't been a problem on any of the other Guzzi's I've owned with the same engine configuration. Heat seems to be coming back from the radiator, up from the catalyst underneath, and back from the headers. My 2021 V85 doesn't have a radiator, headers go out the front, and the catalyst underneath seems better shielded or insulated. I love riding the Stelvio but if it's hot out I take the V85TT.
