Ah, I see. Give the bike more mass centralisation for beter handling. The craftily conceived idea of the subtle addition of 10g of wire/connectors. Just brilliant.

I could tell you, but then I’d have to shoot you!
The motronic unit holds more than one map. The CCP commands it to load up the appropriate one, which is for a cat and standard exhaust can.
If you fit a Y piece and less restrictive end can, this map is wrong and your fuelling will be out. If its lean this is potentially dangerous.
Steptoe found that by placing a link wire in the terminals shown above, it commands the motronic to load up a map for a unrestricted exhausts system. Note this is a general map and whilst better than the standard one, it is a general map and probably wont be 100% perfect. Although it apparently feels 100% better.
The only way to get your fuelling spot on, is on a dyno and have a custom map written for your specific bike. You would need a techlusion box or power commander to hold this map.
