sticky throttle

Throttle is sticky, seems to be heat related. Put the heated grips on and it starts sticking!!!!! 86,000 miles, handguards and muffs fitted. Grips are about 5 years old.

Thoughts anyone?

They all do that sir. It'll be the twistgrip expanding and binding up against the handlebar end. Try slackening the screws and moving the twistgrip in as far as possible. Failing that, a very thin spacer under the bar end.

Mine did that without heated grips.
A thin washer under the bar end sorted that problem
Shame it doesn't sort others!
