stolen bike

hi all

my white bmw r100gs was stolen last night in Edinburgh in Gilmerton dykes drive it was locked up with a cable on the back wheel and frame.
the frame number is 6465889
engine number is 46910257
reg number is K646FYE
if u see any thing around let me now
i just hope i get the bike back :(
 
the police man said they my be use for parts or ridden till they run dry and burned i just hope ebike are going to good and pay out

i be on my push bike now to get to work till i can save up to get a nothing one or try and sort out the mass wiring prob on my other bike

Sorry to hear your bad news dude, have you taken a walk around the local area and see if it is not parked up somewhere? Sometimes you get lucky. Seems like these bikes are getting nicked more and more regardless of age or condition :mad:
 
I am sorry to here about this theft.

But on a brighter note my G/S was stolen early this year and it was spotted by another member on this forum so with this information and the good policing we have here I got it back in 3 days not in too bad a state.

I was glad to get it back rather than go through hoops for the insurance.

Bloody bad enough that your BM was nicked -but having to resort to the pushy for transport :eek: :eek:

Seriously; hope that you get the bike back OK and that the thieving bastard has a few goes at trying to kick start it before then :thumb
 
well just got a call from the police to say my bike has turned up they have told me that its not able to be ridden. i dont now as yet what damage has been done to it. i will find out tomrow when i phone the recovery place then call the insurance.
i hope it can be fixed
 
Delighted to hear the bike has been recoverd. Hopefully the damage is not too bad. JJH
 
Glad it's been found and hopefully the damage won't be terrible!

Make sure that it is recovered as soon as possible, otherwise it might get torched in the meantime :eek
 
its at a recovery yard just now. and its was found in Edinburgh not sure were i will find out more tomrow

'recovery' = storage fees = £££!!!

get it out of their hands a.s.a.p. :mad:

good to hear you got it back - if it needs bits, ask here first - people will often help as much as possible.. :thumb2
 
well seen the bike and its not as bad as first thought.plus got photos of the bike to, the damage is a -
the ignition has been broken
tank lock missing
right side panel missing
battery missing
battery lead cut
the look got pulled of the seat
tools under seat missing
my insurance ebike will be picking up the bike and the bill from the recovery yard and taking to there yard and then getting the bike checked ect and then working out the cost of sorting it and will be letting me now.
as i cant wait to have it back
