Stolen GS1150 !

So if everybody knows where they are, and spots them regularly, it begs the question....wheres the plod?
Eating donuts arresting this sort of scum is a hassle they resist they dont pay their fines so there is no financial gain for the system so it seems its not a priority and ignored until the press get wind and public demand action.

A few years ago around here a high ranking police commander had his car stolen within 10 mins half the force were looking for it including helicopter the car was recovered and an arrest was made within a hour so they can do something when the senior officer decide to put the resorces on the job

Feel your pain man.

To the knackers who steal & destroy them, bikes are just metal fun devices, regardless of whether for us the bike is transport to work, a passionate obsession, a means to travel on holiday...

Keep your spirits up - you'll get a new bike and put this behind you soon enough.

They are the first to tell you they know who it is and where they live etc ! But cant touch the little darlings ? Then wonder why people take the law into there own hands .

Simple matter...intelligence, target, catch them; all it needs is some initiative, and some ground work.

The trouble is that allotting the officers/resources required will need to through umpteen consultations, steering groups, etc etc, and it sounds as if no-one can be arsed.

They are no ones little darlings and unless you are prepared to get very, very nasty, you won`t take the law into your own hands either.

This crowd are utter hardcore scum.

Write it off and to a bad experience and move on, get another bike, and keep away from that part of town / lock the shit out of it.

Most of them will be dead before 30 so take comfort in that.

That sucks. I tour a lot in Scotland and have never even heard of that happening.

Been told another lad has had there KtM 690 stolen up there and was on a european trip ! they have had to fly back to switzerland :anger:
