Bugger me,
I never post threads, then I post half a dozen in the course of a fortnight.
Went to take the bike out last night (2004 1150gsa) turned the key let it do it's usual diagnostics and hit the starter.
Starter went to fire up then went dead. No power at all to the bike. No lights, no clock or RID.
Turned the ignition on and off a few times, still nothing.
I then checked the fuses, all seemed ok but took a few out to check and popped them back in and made suare they and all the relays were seated properly. Looked up at dash and all is well again. Started first time, all lights and abs stuff all tickety boo. Am I a technical genius or was one of the fuses perhaps a bit loose. Oh, not touched any electrical stuff on the bike or had anything hard wired etc to it recently. Checked battery terminals as well. All tight.
Tried starting it again a few times over the course of the evening and works perfectly.
Bloody Germans
