My otherwise fault free 5 month old 1200GS has recently developed a little niggle.
Under decent acceleration (say 4,000 rpm in second gear) sometimes, but not always, the engine misses, sort of feels like it hits a temporary red line limiter before picking up again.
Same thing happens in third too.
Very smooth use off the throttle alleviates to some extent, but cracking the throttle open doesn't.
Now not a big issue to live with as on the daily commute through that there london 4,000 rpm never happens.
I'm quite temped to try to live with in to the next service (which will be at 6,000 and bike still under warranty) but thought it worth throwing open for comment.
Any thoughts
(please, spare me the ususal boring "my 1150 has been to jupiter and back on unfiltered diesel and never even lost a wheel spoke so you should get rid of the 12 and get one of those instead type boring answers)
