Had a weird happenings with my XT today, and strangely enough almost the same thing happened to my mates Nav V.
We're in Norway, just got to Bodo ready to cross to the Loften Islands. As we approached Bodo my XT went very dark, I could just read it in the tunnels but it was almost impossible in normal light.
Investigation showed the screen brightness has dropped to 20% and it was in night mode. I reset it to 80% brightness and to perminant day mode and all seemed well, until I put it back on the mount when it went dark again. I could just see enough to check the screen brightness, it was back to 20%! I again reset it to 80% and all seems well again.
My mates Nav V did exactly the same thing, and we did the same to resolve its issues.
Has anyone had anything like this happen or have any idea what the issue might be?
