Strange!!!

When usin my 2610 in the Dublin area and i pick a waypoint and select goto it insists on taking me into the irish sea and back again i tried on a few different waypoints and it done the same thing. I thought i had got the knack of using it now this one has stumped me it seems to work fine every where else except in the middle of dublin

Are you working off loaded detailed maps or just the basemap ? I originally had some really wierd routes - via the English Channel - when using just the basemap, but as soon as the detailed maps were loaded, it never happened again.

Oatsey. Why don't you post the file / route on here to see if it does the same when we try it? We've got a GPS "Workshop" this Saturday - sounds to me like this could be an ideal "case study".

I have just tried same route only from home in the north of ireland and the route is fine it only seems to happen when im in dublin then it sends me into the irish sea and back again. i will be down on thursday i will give it another go and try and get some more info for everyone

On our Ireland tour last year, I plotted a route around the Ring of Kerry and it insisted on sending us into the sea several times. Good job me boots were waterproof!
