stripped thread help!!

just fitted new engine bars to my 1100gs tonight and when i went to tighten the last bolt in to the frame of the bike i stripped the thread
anyone any ideas on what i can do

Have a helicoil fitted.
Local engineering bloke should do it for about £15.

Is the stripped bolt still in?
What does the bolt go into (Alloy or steal)?
What size is it?
What is the access like?
What color is it?
Last question is a tension breaker.

its very hard to explain the bolt without a picture but its the one that attaches the rod that runs fron the frame up to the front mud guard area,theres one on each side of the bike,the bolts ok its the thread on the bike ive stripped

longer bolts?

same bolts,they were the ones supplied with the bars
