Just got back from 11 days riding on & off road thru Laos & Cambodia.
In spite of a few offs the bike worked flawlessly until the last day when the speedomete quit - or at least stuck and won't go beyond 35kph.
This was not a major problem as the trip counter continued to work, as did the the rev ctr.
I just wondered if anybody could advise on clearing up this isssue. I assume that it is the same cable that updates the odometer & trip counter - so why should the speedometer needle stick?
Any help profered would be greatfully received.
Cheers

I thought the speedo was electronic on the 1200 and had no cable ?

I think i saw a thread on here saying the instrument cluster was not totally waterproof, did you drown it at any time :nenau

Thanks for the heads up on the electronic speedo.
I will get the dealer to look at it when I'm back in BKK.
Much appreciated.
