Can't put the link on but there's a blue GS 1150 with a TTS supercharger on it on eBay.
Looks a proper job although not sure how well it would work:confused:
Anyone done this or seen it done before ?

by all accounts it works pretty well , im sure somebody here did it a while back

I'd be amazed if the driveline could stand the increase in torque / power long term...

Still running........ 7000 miles, 3 years, zero defects to drive train apart from original weak clutch which let go on the dyno.
Will update my original post with latest mods to oil reservoir when i get a chance.

Cool hurry up about it man :D:D:D

sent from ??? hold on where the fuck am I ??????

Any updates regarding costs to upgrade, Im thinking along the lines of wheel in standard and back out with the mods, cheers, looks the dogs danglies by the way.

Hank - Thanks for that, I'll drop him a line.

See other thread for new oil reservoir picture and history....... http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?269148-1150-Supercharger&p=3477844#post3477844

FAIR1535 - Best bet is to call TTS and ask to be sure but I'm pretty sure the cost of the kit (plus the dreaded vat remember) is the cost. It should include a power commander and set up on their rolling road. They won't sell so many so you could always negotiate the cost of fitting if it's not included. If you read the thread copied above it'll give you all the latest updates (new model supercharger, relocated oil res) which should be part of your kit. If you do go for it I think the intercooler needs a minor mod for ground clearance but TTS know about this (I can supply pics if needed). It's nothing major but high lean angles on bumps can catch the silicone hose and hole it. I carry a spare and some gaffer tape!!! but it's only happened three times.
I think popular opinion is that it's a lot of money to pay but it was way cheaper than upgrading to a new GS and I have something unique (for the time being anyway). In terms of reliability only time will tell but once you get used to the thrill you start to ride differently and don't give it 10/10ths all the time which will help preserve things. Just make sure your clutch is good, mine has a ceramic jobby now but it was suspect to begin with.
Let me know if you do do it and get TTS to give me a call.

Appreciate it thanks. Richard the MD is away on business until next week.

Cheers
Steve

There must be a way of getting 'hardened' drive train components, surely?

In the Landrover world, you can get pretty much the whole drive train in heavy duty versions, from half shafts to UJs.......BMW has had highly tuned racing bikes forever, with similar outputs to what you'd expect to get from a blown system.......maybe it's possible to source the parts that they use in those racing models? :nenau
