Hello everyone, can anyone offer any help and advise?
I am new to UKGSer, joined today.
I have just fitted a used Motorrad Zumo 550 to my 2008 R1200 GS Adventure. As such I have no instructions, I used the information in the posts in UKGSer to find the auxiliary connection plug to connect the power (nice one).
I have an Auto-Com fitted to the bike, the headphones are plugged into the GPS cradle.
For some reason there is interference (buzzing). I am unsure where the problem is as the sound on the 550 Zumo only works with it in the cradle and with the power connected. There is no provision for headphones on the GPS (only on the cradle).
My Garmin Nuvi 350 works fine with no interference at all (only using the battery. Do you know if I should use a suppressor? The noise is constant and does not increase with an increase in revs.
Any ideas? Cheers, Tony.
