One for any of you who have a Twincam GS or GSA - Not LC variants

What is / are the settings required via the LH button to to get the bike to sit as low as possible

I had it uber low when i went to Sids, but now it seems like its getting higher ..

The manual is as much use as a block of cheese, press button choose setting lol

I was never sure what the settings did when I had a TC with ESA. From memory, comfort seemed lower than sport. I never tried the settings with pointy bits, presumably for off-road.

I think the just one helmet setting is lowest, the comfort / sport etc just change the damping as far as I know.

Yep, as dicktheleg says........... the icons are one helmet lowest, then one helmet with luggage, then two helmets with luggage but this only makes a difference to the rear shock not the front...... Once you go to little mountains it raise the rear up another step and the front up a step, then the big mountains raises rear and front up yet another step.... That's your preload, and as said before, comfort, normal and hard is just the damper settings, doesn't affect the ride height.

I believe that the ESA preload settings can go out of adjustment. They can be re-calibrated back to normal by using one of the various code reader jobbies. To be frank I wouldn't buy one because of cost so would take my bike to someone who has one. I'm happy to pay a few £ on the odd occaission its needed. Using the gizmo, the software puts the ESA through a diagnostic which takes it through its adjustment range and resets the limits.

Gs911 can certainly calibrate the suspension. But I don't know whether you're supposed to do it on the centre stand or woth the wheels on the ground.

I do it on the centre stand only to reduce the load on the mechanicals as it winds up and down to find the range. It probably doesn't make any difference which way.
