My driveshaft has failed.
I removed it without taking out the swing arm. Pulled out the rubber boot and levered the shaft back.
Don't think it will be that easy to do this when putting it back together.
Which begs the question how does the swing arm come out?
The left hand side appears fairly straightforward - unscrew the locknut, then unscrew the pin.
The right hand side mentions using a slide hammer to draw the pin out. I haven't got one. Is there a way of getting it out without using a slide hammer? I see machine mart do a kit: http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cht251-10-pce-slide-hammer-puller-set : is this suitable?
