Switched live wire close to battery?

I suppose you could call it that, but all it is is a power take off. He did ask for something near the battery but I understood that to be either for simplicity wiring in a relay to power his camera, or to directly power it without a relay. The ‘sat nav’ connector should serve the purpose of directly powering his camera just fine.
I agree. It would definitely work for the switching

I did find mine now. It was visible from the top, just....
I had looked from underneath and would never see it..
Question now is.... What is the connector called or where can I find a matching plug?
Can't see it in Nippy Normans site.
Thanks

This is the cable with plug... For a satnav connection.

But tbh, you don't need it. You can use your own plug and cable. The plug on that satnav has very delicate pins. I'd be inclined to use a more robust plug.

Thanks for your help.
I had seen that one but it looked different.
And good tip on a more robust plug.

Thanks for all your help guys, All sorted now. Very impressed with the INNOVV K2 set up. Hope fully years of trouble free camera footage there should the worst happen
Thanks again

Bit late now, but the GREEN wire to the diagnostic socket is what you need.

Ignition controlled positive feed for a relay and no can bus delay after turning the ignition off.

KTM bikes come with either one or on larger bikes two sets of electrical accessory feeds, one permanently live, the other switched by the ignition.

Makes fitting heated grips and socket for charging/heated jacket very simple.

Do you by any chance have a pic of the location of these on a KTM - I need to wire in my K2 soon and not sure where it is.

If the bike is a ‘keeper’ why not spend a bit more and buy a switched power outlet that you can connect a number of items to? I run a heated jacket, heated grips, satnav and auxiliary lights off the same unit and they’re dead easy to do the initial fit then add items to it if you want to add a camera or similar.
